Kacar vs cakar

Tadi pagi, diantara sibuknya upacara pergi kerja, manasin motor, make sepatu, jaket, helm- there was a unique conversations antara aku, abang, dan koko. Koko adalah anak kecil tetangga sebelah rumah, umur 4 taun, tinggi badan cuman sepinggangku.
Seperti biasa, pagi buta koko (namanya Lorenz, sesuai kebiasaan Chinese, doski milih dipanggil koko ajah) udah genjot sepeda mini (bangets!) nya hilir mudik didepan rumah, dan seperti biasanya juga, kalo liat kami keluar rumah dia akan berenti untuk ngobrol.
“Kucingnya udah gede ya Om” koko membuka obrolan, menunjuk cimot (kucing remaja yang kebetulan sering nginep dihalaman rumah).
“Iya, sekarang udah gendut ya” abang nimpalin. “Makan mlulu sih dia”.
“Galak lagi, aku aja pernah dikacar tuh sama dia” Koko mulai ngadu.
Aku dan abang liat – liatan. Mulei nih.. pikirku.
”Sakit gak?” tanyaku sambil jongkok supaya kami lebih sejajar ngobrolnya.
”Wuih! Sakeeeettt banget” katanya sambil mringis.
”Kalo dicakar pernah gak ko?” tanyaku lagi.
” Pernah juga, tapi sama si Gugi tuh” kali ini dia ngaduin kucingku yang satu lagi.
” Sakit mana, dikacar atau dicakar?” tanya aku dan abang ampir bersamaan.
”Ya sakitan dikacar dong! Gimana sih tante..” katanya sambil genjot sepeda mini (bangets!)nya meninggalkan kami yang bengong.
Aku dan abang liat – liatan sambil wondering apa memang “dikacar” itu ada artinya.
Well, sometimes kids can make you wonders what kind of fantastic world they had in mind..

  2. seorang teman bercita-cita untuk melakukan pemetaan dan “recognizing” bahasa bayi/ balita…..terkadang antara bayi/balita mereka bisa mengobrol dengan bahasa merak sendiri yang membuat para org dewasa terbengong-bengong ..Amazing

    Ceuk abdi mah sami jeung urang dewasa. Urang nyieun istilah2 anu benten kanggo perkawis2 anu peryogi, nanging ukur hiji istilah kanggo perkawis2 enteng, sapertos dicakar ucing.

    Keur Koko mah dicakar kucing itu peryogi banget, makanya manehna nyien istilah2 anu benten kanggo saban rupa2 obahan cakar ucing, Anu “kacar” meureun bakchand, jeung anu “cakar” obahan forehand… hehehe!

    Sami jeung istilah gandum. Kanggo urang mah ukur mengenal hiji istilah kanggo gandum (salian ti tukang roti…meureun!), tapi urang amrik mah boga rupa2 sebutan keur gandum, margi gandum peryogi banget pikeun maranehna. Tingali wikipedia:

    * Durum — Very hard, translucent, light colored grain used to make semolina flour for pasta.
    * Hard Red Spring — Hard, brownish, high protein wheat used for bread and hard baked goods. Bread Flour and high gluten flours are commonly made from hard red spring wheat. It is primarily traded at the Minneapolis Grain Exchange.
    * Hard Red Winter — Hard, brownish, mellow high protein wheat used for bread, hard baked goods and as an adjunct in other flours to increase protein in pastry flour for pie crusts. Some brands of unbleached all-purpose flours are commonly made from hard red winter wheat alone. It is primarily traded by the Kansas City Board of Trade. One variety is known as “turkey red wheat”, and was brought to Kansas by Mennonite immigrants from Russia.
    * Soft Red Winter — Soft, low protein wheat used for cakes, pie crusts, biscuits, and muffins. Cake flour, pastry flour, and some self-rising flours with baking powder and salt added for example, are made from soft red winter wheat. It is primarily traded by the Chicago Board of Trade.
    * Hard White — Hard, light colored, opaque, chalky, medium protein wheat planted in dry, temperate areas. Used for bread and brewing.
    * Soft White — Soft, light colored, very low protein wheat grown in temperate moist areas. Used for pie crusts and pastry. Pastry flour, for example, is sometimes made from soft white winter wheat.
